Powdered cleaner for espresso machine group heads.
Backflushing Instructions
- Remove the portafilter from the machine and replace the filter basket with a blind filter.
- For daily cleaning, add 1 level scoop of EVO® into the portafilter. If cleaning is done less frequently, use 2 level scoops.
- Mix the powder in the blind filter with a small amount of water and let it sit for 2 minutes.
- Insert the portafilter and start the brew cycle. Let it run for 10 seconds to allow the detergent to dissolve.
- Stop the cycle and let it sit for 10 seconds.
- Repeat the cycle 4 more times: 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off.
- Remove the portafilter and rinse it thoroughly under running water from the brew group.
- Reinsert the portafilter with the blind filter and run the rinse cycle 10 times: 5 seconds on, 2 seconds off, to ensure complete rinsing of the group head.
- Replace the regular filter basket in the portafilter and pull one espresso shot. Discard the shot to remove any remaining residue.
Portafilter Cleaning Instructions
- Soak the portafilter and filter basket in 500 ml of hot water with 2 level scoops of cleaning powder dissolved in it for 10 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly under running hot water.
